Using images found when researching Bridlington and the culture of British seaside towns, I have created a collage in Adobe Photoshop.

I designed my collage to have a dark, drab and brooding tone. It features various icons and staples of Bridlington and the British seaside floating in the waters of Bridlington’s beach close to the promenade, during a fog-encased night, all in grey-scale. The reason for this is to portray the growing disregard and reducing appreciation for Bridlington’s existence, culture and beauty over time. During the present day many have forgotten about it, or simply do not wish to visit any longer. The attractions and sights we used to enjoy and the memories we experienced sit idle in the natural ocean as contaminating garbage, no longer attractive or of worth, ready to be washed away, but still linger due to the tide and the waves keeping it in place.
