My poster’s purpose is to enlighten viewers on real-world hypocrisies, controversies, and current world issues. Since the message behind my conceptual poster will be serious it will be targeted at an audience of young and older adults, both male and female. Additionally, since the problems the poster will be targeting are universal, it will not be targeted to a specific background or ethnicity, or any other specific demographics.
The above idea sketches reflect some of these issues. For instance, the top left’s subject is how many state everybody is a slice of the supposed ‘love pie’, with the pie reflecting how everybody should love each other and how we’re all one and the same, but there’s always somebody or some group of people portrayed by the missing pie slice who are left out.
The top right and bottom left ideas represent how whenever a problem or issue arises in the world, a person or a party of people are always to blame, and one can never determine in advance who will be blamed next. This is portrayed through the use of a TV game show-like spinning wheel that randomises who the blame is put onto ‘THIS’ time, as if its a game, or has had no manual thought put into its decision.
The bottom middle design is patronising and humorous to show people hating someone, but it stated it in an ironically friendly manner, which is often done on social media through the use of memes.
The bottom right design portrays how many are often prevented from doing something or going a certain direction/route, and the reason why isn’t stated whatsoever.
