Using Adobe After Effects I created an animation of a bouncing ball, with the ball starting from the top left of the screen and periodically bouncing until it reaches a stop in the middle. Additionally I applied a rotating pattern to the ball, making the ball appear to be spinning.
One issue I encountered was I could not get the ball pattern to stop spinning once the ball had reached a stop, and I was unable to figure out why this was the case. Another issue I encountered was originally the pattern on the ball did not match the placement of the ball, however I figured out the solution to this was to alter the placement of the anchor point of the ball pattern to be situated in the centre of the ball.
