Below are both my initial storyboard sketches and the pages of my finalised storyboard, as well as an in-depth description of the sequence and an animatic. I have included numbers in brackets in the description to indicate which frame of the storyboard corresponds to each part of the description.

Narrative description:
My sequence will follow a sad young man who has arrived at the riverside on a grey and rainy day to gaze upon the water and horizon on a grey and rainy afternoon. Seemingly worn out, the man had decided to go for a walk and grab a drink to clear his head, get some fresh air and do some self-reflection (1-6). Eventually, the man turns around intending to walk elsewhere (7), but suddenly he hears a low rumbling sound. Upon turning back around, he notices the rain grow more intense, the clouds getting darker and something beginning to emerge from the water(8-11). Suddenly a figure bursts from the river’s depths and rises upwards, floating mid-air before him. This figure is revealed to be a woman with flowing streams of glistening water for hair and happens to don a bitter expression directed towards the man. Lightning strikes down behind her, and the rain grows more intense (11-14). The startled man freezes upon seeing her, and for a short moment, the two stare at one another in complete silence (15). The woman appears to be of a magical nature due to floating above the water and intensifying weather. She brings her hands forward as they begin to glow, and releases a force of blinding light directly towards the man (16-17). What follows is a series of hallucinatory flashbacks, in which the man is trapped inside, that display various moments in the past that the man and woman shared during different seasons of the year, going through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter (17-22). Eventually, he reaches an unknown dark and watery area where the woman is waiting for him. She goes in to kiss him, but just as it happens the man is snapped back to reality (23-28). He opens his eyes, and the woman alongside the adverse weather has vanished, leaving him standing alone at the riverside once again, as if an important message had just been shown to him (28-35). What happened and the meaning of it are left to the viewer for interpretation.
Animatic:
I created the animatic above to give a clear display of how the sequence will be paced throughout its 60-second duration. This is only intended to be used as a guide to aid the production of my final video submission, so there may be some slight differences in the final product when completed.
